Our Executive Team, Senior Management Team, and Community Support team boast extensive experience, skills, and expertise in working with individuals with diverse disabilities.
To maintain the highest standards of care and safety, all our staff undergo rigorous screening processes, including Working with Children check, NDIS Worker screening check as well as mandatory NDIS training. Additionally, they participate in an intensive induction program before commencing work with you.We prioritise continuous improvement and professional development by providing ongoing training and supervision to our staff. This ensures that they are equipped to deliver the highest quality support to individuals with various needs.

Mahmoud Fahmy
Chief Executive Officer
Mahmoud brings over 16 years of experience in the disability sector, supported by a professional background in Microbiology. His transition into the disability industry was driven by a strong desire to be part of the solution and to make a genuine, lasting difference in the lives of people with disability.
Mahmoud is deeply passionate about ensuring participants have access to safe, inclusive, and meaningful spaces where they feel supported to grow, connect, and thrive. This passion is reflected in his commitment to providing environments such as Ability Choice Care’s Activity Centre, where participants are encouraged to build independence, confidence, and social connections.
As CEO, Mahmoud is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity, accessibility, and empowerment across all services. He strongly values ongoing education, training, and mentoring, recognising that a skilled and supported team is essential to delivering high-quality, person-centred supports.
Beyond Ability Choice Care, Mahmoud actively collaborates with other organisations, policymakers, and advocacy groups to promote equal opportunities and help break down stigma experienced by people with disability.
In 2023, Mahmoud worked tirelessly to bring Ability Choice Care’s state-of-the-art Activity Centre in Blacktown to life — a space designed to promote social inclusion, community participation, and independence for individuals living with disability.

Marina Liaskos
Activity Centre Manager & Business Improvement Manager
Marina Liaskos is the dedicated Activity Centre and Business Improvement Manager at Ability Choice Care, where she combines creativity, compassion, and strategy to enhance both participant experiences and organisational growth.
With extensive experience in the disability and community sectors, Marina leads with a people-first approach, ensuring that participants feel valued, supported, and empowered in every aspect of their journey. She oversees the daily operations of the Activity Centre, coordinating programs that foster independence, confidence, and social connection.
In her role as Business Improvement Manager, Marina drives continuous development across the organisation — implementing new systems, streamlining processes, and supporting innovation to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
Marina is known for her collaborative leadership style, her strong relationships with participants, families, and practitioners, and her unwavering commitment to building a community where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
Donna Newton
SIL Manager
With over 16 years of dedicated experience in the disability support sector, Donna Newton has built her career on compassion, strong leadership, and a steadfast commitment to person-centred care.
Beginning as a frontline support worker, Donna developed a deep understanding of the unique needs, challenges, and aspirations of people living with disabilities. Her hands-on experience laid the foundation for a career defined by integrity, empathy, and continuous growth.
Today, as a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Manager, Donna leads with purpose—empowering individuals to live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. She fosters a supportive and inclusive environment that nurtures both client progress and staff development.
Donna is passionate about mentoring new team members, maintaining compliance with NDIS standards, and driving service excellence through continuous improvement. Her unwavering advocacy for inclusion, dignity, and choice is at the heart of everything she does.
Donna’s long-term commitment to the disability sector reflects her belief in building communities where everyone is valued, supported, and able to thrive.

Tayla Kirkbride
Business Support Officer
Tayla Kirkbride is the Business support officer here at Ability Choice Care. Business Improvement plays a key role in supporting the operational efficiency and continuous improvement of Ability Choice Care.
Tayla previously worked as a Support Worker within Ability Choice Care, supporting participants with complex needs and high support requirements. This frontline experience provides valuable insight into the day-to-day realities of service delivery, allowing Tayla to understand the practical challenges faced by support workers and participants.
Tayla works closely with the leadership team to strengthen internal systems, improve processes, support compliance, and ensure the organisation continues to deliver high-quality supports to participants.
This role focuses on identifying areas of improvement across the business and implementing practical solutions that improve service delivery, administration, and organisational performance.
Jane Hemel
Support Coordinator
Jane brings a strong social work background and has been working in the disability sector since 2009. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles across employment services, children’s services, refugee programs, and mental health, giving her a well-rounded and person-centred approach to support coordination.
Jane rejoined Ability Choice Care in 2026 as a strong disability advocate, bringing her passion for supporting participants to navigate their NDIS plans and achieve meaningful goals. Her lived experience in supporting participants to achieve their goals comes strongly through in her work, guiding her approach and fostering genuine connections with those she supports.
With her depth of experience and collaborative approach, Jane is committed to ensuring participants feel supported, informed, and empowered every step of the way.

Mando Fahmy
Finance and Claims Manager
Mando Fahmy is the Finance and Claims Manager at Ability Choice Care, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing all financial aspects of the organisation. His work ensures that participant plans, budgets, and NDIS claims are managed with accuracy, transparency, and integrity.
With a background in Information Technology, Mando spent several years in the IT sector before discovering his true passion — supporting people with disability to live more independently. This passion led him to complete formal studies in Disability and begin a rewarding career within the NDIS sector.
Since joining Ability Choice Care in 2020, Mando has held several key roles, including Support Worker, Group Home Team Leader, and Roster Coordinator. His strong operational understanding and financial expertise have positioned him as an essential part of the management team, where he continues to drive efficiency and accountability across financial operations.
Mando’s commitment to excellence and person-centred service ensures that every financial process supports the organisation’s mission of delivering high-quality, meaningful support to participants and their families.

Muktha Vikram
Chartered Accountant & Certified Public Accountant
Muktha Vikram is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years of experience in Australia. Muktha specializes in the preparation of financial statements, financial audits, taxation, and bookkeeping.
With strong proficiency in accounting processes, Muktha excels in month-end closings, balance sheet reconciliations, and reviewing profit and loss accounts. Muktha is experienced in maintaining books of accounts using MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, Handisoft, and other accounting software.
In addition, Muktha is highly skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel functions such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and Power Query, enabling efficient and accurate financial analysis.
Committed to precision and efficiency, Muktha brings expertise and professionalism to every financial engagement.

Connie Chrisafis
Assistant Activity Centre Manager & Return to Work Coordinator
Connie Chrisafis is the Assistant Activity Centre Manager and Return to Work Coordinator at Ability Choice Care, where her calm, caring, and professional approach supports both participants and staff to thrive.
Connie plays a key role in the daily operations of the Activity Centre, ensuring programs run smoothly and participants feel welcomed, supported, and valued. With exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for helping others, she contributes to creating a warm and structured environment that promotes confidence, learning, and wellbeing.
As Return to Work Coordinator, Connie provides compassionate guidance and practical support, helping staff reintegrate into the workplace with understanding and care.
Her dedication, empathy, and commitment to excellence make her an integral part of the Ability Choice Care team — continually fostering a culture of inclusion, safety, and support for everyone.

Matt Dahdal
Workforce Coordinator
Matt brings over seven years of experience in workforce coordination, scheduling, and administration, with a strong background in rostering software, information technology, and database management.
As a highly motivated and dependable professional, Matt is known for his exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality service. He is responsible for staff recruitment, rostering, and the management of compliance documentation, ensuring that operational standards and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
Fluent in both English and Arabic, Matt takes pride in fostering clear communication and teamwork. His proficiency with scheduling systems such as Visual Care, combined with his strong problem-solving abilities, allows him to effectively support both staff and participants in achieving their goals.
At Ability Choice Care, Matt plays a vital role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the organisation’s mission of providing high-quality, participant-centred care.

Kristin Tomlinson
Intake & Service Coordinator
Kristin brings over twelve years of experience across the disability, community, and allied health sectors. With a strong background in supporting people with Acquired Brain Injuries and complex needs, she has worked in hands-on support roles, client service management, and in close collaboration with behaviour support practitioners and multidisciplinary teams.
These experiences have shaped Kristin’s passion for delivering genuine, person-centred care.
Kristin values connection, communication, and collaboration. She believes that the best outcomes happen when participants, families, and professionals work together. Her focus is on making the intake journey smooth, welcoming, and supportive—ensuring every participant feels heard, respected, and confident from their very first interaction with Ability Choice Care.
